Step 1: Provide CAD/PDF/3D drawings for checking details, 3D format available: IGS. STEP. STP (Note: If the drawing is confidential, NIC is willing to sign NDA agreement first.)

Step 2: NIC evaluate the technological performance of structure, provide feedback or give suggestions if drawings need to update some details.

Step 3: Comfirm production details and send estimated quotation. (Note: Production details included material, surface treatment, finish, roughness, tolerance requirement, and other processing notes.)

Step 4: Make samples for approval before mass production, send samples to customers to check details, and keep at least one sample in our side to make sure the quality is the same for mass production.

Step 5: When samples get approval, begin mass production.

Step 6: Send photos of production, package details for customers review before shipment.

Step 7: Keep samples from mass production to ensure the quality for next batch.


Tips:

You can add a “finish” to the surface for different effects before anodizing it. In general terms you have:

  • Sandblasting makes the surface more dull and grainy.
  • Polishing makes it shiny and smooth,
  • Brushed gives it that slight brush on the surface making it a bit less shiny and smooth.
